Structura sa organizatoric\u0103 includea: comanda regimentului, statul major, patrula comand\u0103 \u015fi 3 escadrile ce operau avioanele IAK-11, IAK-18 \u015fi MiG-15. <\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"ro-RO\">\u00cen urm\u0103torii ani, au urmat mai multe disloc\u0103ri: de la Deveselu la Ianca, iar ulterior la Otopeni, unde \u00een premier\u0103 pentru \u0163ara noastr\u0103, pilo\u0163ii au \u00eenceput s\u0103 zboare primul avionul de v\u00e2n\u0103toare dotat cu radar de interceptare,     MiG-17 PF Fresco.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"ro-RO\">Spre sf\u00e2r\u015fitul anilor \u201950, Regimentul 206 se une\u015fte cu o unitate de mentenan\u0163\u0103, Baza 499 Tehnic\u0103 Aerodrom, se mut\u0103 pe loca\u0163ia Cocargeaua \u015fi  prime\u015fte o noua escadril\u0103, de MiG-19. Aceast\u0103 perioad\u0103 este foarte important\u0103 deoarece se schimb\u0103 denumirea unit\u0103\u0163ii, apare pentru prima dat\u0103 \u00een istorie Regimentul 86 Avia\u0163ie V\u00e2n\u0103toare. <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"ro-RO\">Perioada anilor \u201970-\u201980 este marcat\u0103 de prezen\u0163a \u015fi evolu\u0163ia spectaculoas\u0103 a MiG-ului 21, cel mai produs avion la nivel mondial. \u00cen ciuda mediului social neatractiv al zonei, \u00een aceast\u0103 loca\u0163ie s-au format multe genera\u0163ii de pilo\u0163i de excep\u0163ie, \u201estagiul la Borcea\u201d fiind o carte de vizit\u0103 important\u0103 pentru pilo\u0163ii de v\u00e2n\u0103toare. <\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"ro-RO\">Dup\u0103 1995 \u00eencepe o perioad\u0103 de restaurare a For\u0163elor Aeriene Rom\u00e2ne, iar Regimentul 86 Avia\u0163ie V\u00e2n\u0103toare devine Grupul 86 Avia\u0163ie V\u00e2n\u0103toare, iar ulterior Baza 86 Aerian\u0103 cu denumirea onorific\u0103  \u201eLocotenent aviator Gheorghe Mociorni\u0163\u0103\u201d. \u00cencep primele antrenamente \u015fi misiuni interna\u0163ionale sub egida NATO, iar profesionalismul pilo\u0163ilor rom\u00e2ni \u00eencepe s\u0103 fie recunoscut pe plan interna\u0163ional.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"ro-RO\">\u00cen anul 1994, \u00eencepe un program de modernizare a avionului MiG-21 la Aerostar S.A.
