MISSION
Non-commissioned and Technical Non-commissioned Officer School directly
and indirectly grooms non-commissioned officers as specialists in operating,
maintaining and repairing the equipment and weapon systems, as military
basic structures leaders and warriors.
HISTORY
1920 - Aeronautics Military Specialists School was established on Pipera
airfield in Bucharest
1921 - School moved to Medias
1927- September 1st - Aeronautics Technical School moved in a new barrack
located on a land donated by local authorities
1939 - Antiaircraft Artillery Officer School was established and included
a section for non-commissioned officers
1954 - Military Aviation Technical School is given the name of one of
the most important pioneers of aviation "Traian Vuia" ;
1960 - Military School for Antiaircraft Artillery and Radar Non-commissioned
and Technical Officers was established in Brasov
2001 - Octomber 1st - The two schools traditionally representing the Air
Forces merged together into a new entity Air Force Non-commissioned and
Technical Non-commissioned Officer School ”Traian Vuia”
2004 - September 15th - As a result of military educational system restructuring,
the School was co-located in Boboc - Buzau with the Air Force Application
School "Aurel Vlaicu“
Air Force Non-commissioned and Technical Non-commissioned Officer School
”Traian Vuia” is responsible to Air Force Staff and Air Force Application
School provides it with the necessary logistic support. As far as the
curriculum is concerned, the School is subordinated to County Educational
Inspectorate.
This military school has a valuable teaching staff, a rich teaching logistics
and excellent accommodation and equipment allowing a high level training
for a future military career.
