| Romania Performs Air Police Service In The Baltic Countries |

Romania expressed its will to ensure the necessary forces and instruments for Air Police servicing within Baltic Countries air space. As a recognition
of the high level training in this activity field, NATO accepted Romania’s proposal and the Air Police service in Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia will be
ensured by 4 MiG-21 LanceRs, belonging to the Romanian Air Force, for three months, in the second half of 2007. |

| Romania takes over the Kabul International Airport command |
Romanian Air Force takes over the Kabul International Airport command
(KAIA), beginning on 1st April 2006. The mission is developed under NATO aegis and the Romanian flag will wave on the highest level in Kabul for the first
time, during four months, Romania being Lead Nation. The Romanian detachment, built of 39 persons, will remain in Afghanistan until 1st August 2006.  |

| Logistic support of the forces deployed to Iraq |

Military personnel of 2nd Infantry Battalion "Calugareni"
and Military Police Company, subordinated to Italian Brigade
"Garibaldi" are deployed in Iraq. Tthese elements
operate aiming at accomplishing given tasks. C-130 Hercules
aircraft in service with Romanian Air Force provide their
logistic support, i.e. personnel and assets air transportation
to the theatre. |

| ALTHEA Operation |
The most important operation of this type organized untill now
by European Union, ALTHEA is subsequent to NATO SFOR mission
and our country made an important contribution to its success.
Romanian Air Force participate in this operation with four
IAR-330 SOCAT helicopters which perform equipment and personnel
transportation, air reconnaissance, medical rescue and evacuation.
