THE ROMANIAN AIR FORCE EDUCATION AND PROFFESIONAL DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM

Organic military educational establishemnts of the Air Forces are responsible for professional formation and development of the Air Force personnel and they represent an integrated part of the nationaleducational system. They also ensure that the fundamental goals are accomplished, that is formation, specialization and improvement of active military personnel according to designed models and military standards, as follows:

-Officer formation by direct means within the Air Force Academy, indirect means within Air Force Application School, or in NATO members' military educational establishments.

-Air Force Application School is responsible for specialization and training for the first position assigned of the officers groomed by direct means.
- Technical NCOs and NCOs are both directly (techinical NCOs are top priority) and indirectly (priority: NCOs) groomed in Air Force NCO and Technical NCO School and Air Force Application School - Boboc.

-Professional training improvement of officers, technical NCOs and NCOs is performed through career and level courses organized by Air Force Application School.
