Colonel (AF) Adrian Codi was born on 16th July 1961 in Bucharest.
After completing intermediate education in the aeronautical high school in Bucharest, in 1980, he started his military career once he was admitted to Air Force Officer School “Aurel Vlaicu” in Boboc, non-flying commissioned officers, which he graduated in 1983 as a Second Lieutenant.
Based on his training as a traffic control navigator he was assigned to 70th Air Division holding positions at Command Post, traffic control post, landing control system, and staff officer. As a result of the significant experience he gained from 1988 to 1993 Colonel Codi was assigned officer responsible for aviation combat employment at Air Force Command and later traffic control navigator/operational traffic controller at Main Command Center/ Air Force and Air Defense Staff.
During his career Colonel attended courses in-country and abroad aimed at improving his professional skills and knowledge and upgrading training. Graduated courses covered the entire range of systems and operational procedures essential to specially-designed air surveillance and weapon control technical platform in service with the Air Operation Center.
Colonel Adrian Codi is married and has a daughter.
